Tasty Lamb Stew
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Use As Required)|
|Lamb stew meat||3 Pound|
|Sliced carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|String beans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cubed potatoes||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Dried celery leaves||2 Tablespoon|
Combine flour and salt and pepper.
Dredge lamb in seasoned flour; brown in 3 tablespoons hot fat in large skillet.
Add water to cover; simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Add all remaining ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes longer.
Blend 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water; add to lamb mixture gradually, stirring constantly, until thickened.
