Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
2 pounds rump roast, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 large onions, minced
3 tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups beef stock
1/2 pound prunes
1/4 pound dried apricots

Directions

Melt butter in a Dutch oven.
Roll meat in cornstarch.
Sauté meat until brown; set aside.
In a separate skillet, sauté vegetables in butter until tender; add to meat.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Stir in remaining ingredients except pumpkin.
