Jungle Stew

Ingredients
  Dried beans 1 Cup (16 tbs), washed and drained
  Bacon slices 6 , cubed
  Onions 2 , sliced
  Potatoes 4 Medium, peeled and cubed
  Canned tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Cook beans in salted water until half done (about 1 hour).
Drain.
Fry bacon with onions until onions are golden brown and bacon is crisp.
Add beans and remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook until beans and vegetables are tender.
Add more water if necessary to keep stew from sticking.
