The perfect stew for those cold winter months or just for plain old fashioned comfort food like grandma use to make
Ingredients
  Carrots 2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced 1/4" thick
  Onions 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Celery 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced 1/2" thick
  Pork sausage links 1 Pound, cut into 2" pieces
  Shredded cabbage 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (fresh)
  Apple juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 15 Ounce
  Whole tomatoes 14 1⁄2 Ounce
  Tomato soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce
  Bay leaf 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Thyme leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

In a 2qt saucepan combine carrots, onions, celery, and sausage. Cook over a medium heat until sausage is browned and the vegetables are crisply tender (8 to 12 min). Pour off fat. meanwhile, in a 3qt saucepan combime remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (12 to 15 min). Stir in cooked sausage and vegetables. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until stew has thickened (20 to 30 min).
