Pork and pear together do sound nice and this Pork And Pear Stew does taste great too. This Pork And Pear Stew is my comfort food. It so yummy that you cannot stop with one bowl!
  Pork shoulder 6 Pound, boned and cubed
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced thinly
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Pears 3 Large, pared and sliced
  Celery ribs 6 , sliced
  Carrots 6 , sliced

1) Saute the onions in the oil until onions are transparent.
2) Lightly season the pork with the salt and pepper, add to onions and brown. Add the remaining ingredients, cover, and bring to boil. Lower flame and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the pork is tender.
