Chuck Wagon Stew

Chuck wagon stew is a savory beef stew made with beef steak cubes and vegetables. Cooked with the flavors of garlic, worcestershire sauce and seasoned to taste, the chuck wagon stew maked a simple and homely meal.
Ingredients
  Beef chuck 2 Pound, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Cut celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Carrots 6 , quartered
  Small white onions 1⁄2 Pound
  Potatoes 3 Medium, quartered
Directions

Thoroughly brown meat on all sides in hot fat; add water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, and seasonings.
Simmer 2 hours; stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
Add vegetables; continue cooking till done.
Remove meat and vegetables; thicken liquid for gravy.
