This crab stew is a lovely seafood stew recipe. Herbed and cooked with cream, the crab stew has mushrooms and tomatoes in it. Brandied to taste, the crab stew is spiced with cayenne and can be served with dinner bread rolls.
1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
1 Small, grated
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
1⁄4 Pound, thinly sliced
2 , skinned and chopped
4 , chopped
Melt butter, stir in grated onion, and cook over a moderate heat for a minute or two.
Stir in mushroom slices and cook several minutes.
Now add tomatoes and cook about 5 minutes.
Stir in crab meat, salt, cayenne, and cream.
Heat until mixture comes to a boil but no longer.
Add parsley, chives, and brandy.
