Chicken Stew

Ingredients
  Chicken 1 , cut into serving pieces
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onions 2 Large, grated
  Potatoes 6 Medium, quartered
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Peas 1 Pound
  Canned tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  String beans 1 Pound
  Tomato paste 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Brown chicken in butter with onions and garlic, if desired.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and pepper, and water.
Bring to a boil, add vegetables, cover, and cook until tender.
