This Biafran Stew is from my Mom's cookbook; an easy to prepare treat for any occasion! An irresitible combination of beef, chicken and veggies - this Biafran Stew is something you must not want to miss out on!
|Chuck steak||1 1⁄2 Pound, deboned, trimmed and cubed|
|Chicken||2 1⁄2 Pound, 1 piece, cut up|
|Canned whole tomatoes||28 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Green pepper||1 , cut in to 12 chunks|
|Yellow onion||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Tabasco||1 Teaspoon (To Taste)|
Brown the chuck steak.
Place all the ingredients in a large kettle with a lid, and simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken and beef are tender
