Newfoundland Fisherman's Stew

Ingredients
  Cod 2 Pound, diced (Fresh)
  Potatoes 2 , finely diced
  Leeks 2 , chopped
  Celery leaves 1 Tablespoon, chopped fine
  Lean salt pork slices 1
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (To Cover Vegetables)
  Hot milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Put successive layers of potatoes, leeks, celery greens, seasoning and pork in clay baker.
Cover with boiling water.
Close and bake 1/2 hour.
Remove clay baker from oven (be careful of steam), lower oven temperature.
Add pieces of fish.
Stir in hot milk.
Season again.
Close and bake another 20 minutes.
