Fish Roe Stew
|White pumpkin||125 Gram|
|Turmeric powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Wash the roe and season it with salt.
Cut the vegetables.
Heat the ghee and put in the roe and all the vegetables except the brinjal.
Add turmeric and mustard and keep stirring - When the roe turns brown, add water.
Bring to the boil; then add the brinjal and salt.
Cover the pan.
Before removing from the fire, check if the vegetables have cooked.
The stew should be ready in about fifteen minutes.
