Stirred Steak And Vegetables
|Sirloin steak||1 1⁄4 Pound, cut in bite size pieces|
|Onion||1 Small, thinly sliced|
|Green pepper||1 , thinly sliced|
|Mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced (Fresh)|
|Tomato sauce||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Powdered ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Place meat in glass casserole.
Cook on roast (7) for 4 to 5 minutes no longer pink, stir occasionally.
Top beef with sliced vegetables.
Combine tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make sauce; pour over vegetables.
Cover; cook on roast (7) for 5 to 6 minutes until vegetables are crisp quarttender.
Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Arrange vegetables in center of platter.
Ring with meat and top with sauce.
