Garlic Fried Steak
|Beefsteaks||1⁄2 Pound, cut 0.75 to 1 inch thick (Allow 1/3 To 0.5 Pound Meat Per Serving)|
|Dairy sour cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), crushed|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|Celery salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Frying)|
|Biscuit mix||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Put steaks into a large shallow dish.
Pour a mixture of the sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, celery salt, and paprika over steaks.
Cover; refrigerate 8 hours.
Heat shortening in a large heavy skillet.
Coat steaks with biscuit mix.
Brown on both sides in skillet; cook to desired degree of doneness.
