Pan Broiled Steak

Ingredients
  Porterhouse steak/Club steak 1
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)
Directions

MAKING
1.First, heat a skillet until it is sizzling hot
2.In a hot pan, place meat and brown well on both sides
3.Now reduce the temperature and cook until required, turning from time to time, being careful not to pierce meat
4.Pour off fat as it accumulates in the pan.
5.On a hot platter, place the meat and spread with butter and season with salt and pepper
6.Allow 1/2 pound per person

SERVING
7.Serve with salads, finger chips, or a sauce of your choice
