Barbecued Deer Steaks
|Deer steaks||2 Pound|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, minced|
|Bottled barbecue sauce||10 Ounce|
|White wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cover steaks with milk; let stand 30 minutes.
Remove from milk; add salt and pepper.
Dredge in flour; brown in butter.
Place layer of steaks in casserole; add layer of onion and barbecue sauce.
Repeat layers until all steaks are used.
Pour wine over steaks; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
