Smothered Mushroom Steak
|Round steak||1 Pound, cut in bite sized pieces|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||10 Tablespoon (1 Stick Plus 2 Tablespoon)|
|Onion||1 Medium, diced|
|Bell pepper||1 , chopped|
|Canned mushrooms||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
|Beef broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Season steak with salt and pepper; roll in flour.
Brown in 2 tablespoons butter.
In separate skillet saute onion, bell pepper and mushrooms in remaining butter; simmer 5 minutes.
Add salt and pepper; combine sauted mixture and meat.
Add broth; simmer until meat is tender.
Serve with rice.
