Round Steak Superb
|Round steak||1 (1 Inch Thick)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Frozen mixed vegetables package||7 3⁄5 Pound (2 Packages Of 3.8 Pounds Each)|
Cut meat into 6 individualservings.
Combine flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper.
Dredge meat in seasoned flour; brown in lard.
Pour off drippings; add water and chopped onion.
Cover; bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
Separate vegetables, if necessary.
Add remaining salt.
Remove cover; place vegetables in liquid under meat.
Cover; return to oven and continue cooking 20 minutes or until vegetables are done.
