Steak With Garlic And Tomatoes (Bistecca Alla Pizzaiola)
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (62.5 Milliliter)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Tomatoes||1 1⁄2 Pound, peeled and chopped (750 Gram)|
Saute the garlic in half the oil for two minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
Cook, stirring constantly, for five minutes.
Remove from heat.
Brown'the steaks well on both sides in the remaining oil.
Reduce heat, spread tomato and garlic mixture over the steaks, cover and cook for about ten minutes.
