Smokey steak bby skewers are grilled and barbecued steak chunks served with corn and tomato salsa. Grilled along with the flavors of bay leaf and onion with slices of courgettes, the smokey steak and barbecued skewers are served with a cooked corn and tomato salsa, flavored with lemon juice.
Ingredients
  Fillet steak 650 Gram
  Red onions 2 Small
  Bay leaves 12
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Kernels 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cherry tomatoes 180 Gram
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Lime juice 2 Teaspoon
Directions

For the skewers: cut the steak into 36 chunks, put in a dish and brush with marinade.
Using a peeler, cut long strips from the courgettes.
Slice one thin wedge from the onion and reserve, and cut the rest into 12 wedges.
Thread the steak, bay, onion and folded strips of courgette onto the skewers.
Place on a baking sheet and brush the bay, onions and courgettes with oil.
Set aside.
For the salsa: bring a pan of water to the boil and simmer the corn for 2-3 mins.
Drain and cool.
Halve the tomatoes, discard seeds, and chop.
Chop the reserved onion.
Mix everything with the oil and lime juice, season.
Barbecue or grill skewers for 6-8 mins, turning halfway through and brushing with extra marinade.
Serve with the salsa.
