Garlic Pepper Steak
|Cube steaks||4 , cut into julienne strips|
|Garlic salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green peppers||2 , cut in julienne strips|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Bias cut celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Tomatoes||2 , peeled and cut in eights|
Season meat with garlic salt and ginger.
Heat half the oil in skillet; add meat and brown quickly on all sides.
Add remaining oil; heat.
Add peppers, onion and celery; cook just till slightly tender.
Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
Add to skillet; cook and stir till mixture thickens.
Add meat and tomatoes; heat.
Serve with hot rice.
