|Chuck steak||3 Pound, cut|
|Spaghetti sauce mix||2 1⁄4 Ounce (With Tomato)|
|Canned potatoes/Drained||2 Pound|
|Sliced carrots/Drained||2 Pound|
1 Brown steak slowly 10 minutes on each side in large heavy frying pan with heat-proof handle or in Dutch oven.
2 While meat browns, prepare spaghetti-sauce mix with water, following label directions; pour over meat; cover.
3 Bake in moderate oven (350Â°) for 1 hour.
Place potatoes and carrots in separate piles on top of meat; spoon some of the sauce over each; cover.
Bake 30 minutes longer, or until meat is tender.
4 Place meat at one side of heated serving platter; arrange potatoes and carrots around edge.
Garnish with parsley, if you wish.
Pass sauce in separate bowl to spoon over meat.
