Cubed Steaks Parmesan
|Finely crushed saltine crackers||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef steaks||5 , cubed (About 4 Each)|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned pizza sauce||8 Ounce|
Beat together egg, pepper, and 1 tablespoon water.
Combine crumbs and 2 tablespoons of the cheese.
Dip steaks in egg mixture, then in crumbs.
In skillet, brown the steaks in hot oil.
Drain off fat.
Pour in pizza sauce.
Cover; reduce heat.
Simmer 20 minutes, adding a little water, if necessary, to keep the sauce from sticking.
Sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons cheese.
