Broiled Herb Steak
|Bone in beef||2 Pound, a round steak, about 1 inch thick|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried basil||1 Teaspoon|
|Coarsely ground pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
Place beef on large piece of plastic wrap.
Mix remaining ingredients; brush both sides of beef with soy mixture.
Fold plastic wrap over beef and secure tightly.
Refrigerate at least 5 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Place beef on rack in broiler pan.
Set oven control to broil and/or 550Â°.
Broil beef with top about 3 inches from heat until medium doneness, 8 to 10 minutes on each side.
Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
