Steak De Burgo
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Dried whole basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Fresh mushrooms||2 Large, fluted|
|Tenderloin steaks||2 (1 1/4- to 1 1/2 inch-thick)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
|Thick french bread slices||2|
1) In a large skillet, melt butter and saute garlic, basil, and mushrooms until garlic is browned and mushrooms are tender.
2) Remove mushrooms and keep them aside.
3) Season the steaks with salt and pepper and put it into the skillet. Cook until done.
4) Serve each steak on a bread slice topped with a mushroom. Pour the serving on the plate as the sauce.
