Cheese Steak Jarlsberg
Yellow pepper - 1 small, finely chopped
Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
Round steak - 1 1/2 pounds, very thinly sliced
Jarlsberg or Nokkelost cheese - 1/2 pound, sliced
Hero rolls - 6 whole, split and toasted
Parsley - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Garlic - 1 large clove, minced
Chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Salsa Sauce to taste
1) Take a bowl and combine tomatoes, onion, pepper, garlic, parsley and chili powder in it. Blend well and cover the bowl. Set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes.
2) Take a large skillet and heat oil in it. Cook several slices of beef at a time; browning quickly on both sides and turning once.
3) Arrange beef on toasted rolls and top with cheese.
4) Broil 4 inches from heat just until cheese melts.
5) Top with salsa to serve.
