Steak and Onions
|Beef round steak||2 Pound, cut in serving-size pieces (1 Piece)|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Cocktail onions||3 1⁄2 Ounce, undrained (1 Jar)|
|Snipped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
1. In skillet brown meat slowly on both sides in hot shortening and drain off excess fat.
2. In a bowl combine soup, 1/4 CUP water and onions.
3. Pour over meat and simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours till tender.
4. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
