Garnished Pepper Steak
|Top round steak||1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into thin strips|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green peppers||2 , sliced|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Place meat in 2-quart glass casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; add soy sauce. Stir in green pepper. Cover with glass lid or wax paper.
2 Microwave for 14 to 16 minutes on HIGH. Combine cornstarch and water in small bowl until smooth; stir into meat mixture. Recover and continue cooking for 2 to 4 minutes on HIGH, or until thickened. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh tomato wedges. About 4 Servings
