Club Steaks With Mushrooms

Ingredients
  Club steaks 2
  Button mushrooms 8 Ounce
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Black pepper 1 Pinch
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon (Of 1/2 Lemon)
  Lemon 1⁄2 , juiced
  Fresh parsley/1 tablespoon chives, snipped 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Fresh chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wipe the steaks with a damp cloth, trim away any excess fat and dry both the sides on paper towels
2. Wipe the mushrooms and trim the base of the their stems; slice the caps and stems thinly
3. Peel the garlic clove, halve it nad rub them liberally over both the sides of the steaks and season the steaks with pepper

MAKING
4. In a heavy skillet heat oil and two tablespoons of the butter; saute the steaks for a couple of minutes on each side
5. Tranfer the steaks on a warm serving dish after having drained them a little by holding them over the skillet
6. Season them with salt adn keep warm
7. In a skillet, melt the rest of the butter and cook mushrooms in it with the heat turned down, until juices release
8. Turn the heat up, add seasonings like salt and lemon juice and cook briskly for a couple of minutes till almost dry

SERVING
9. Add the mushrooms over the steaks, sprinkle parsley or chives and serve at once
