Hot Honeyed Lamb Steaks
|Low calorie apricot spread||1 1⁄3 Tablespoon (Or Reduced Calorie, 1 Tablespoon Plus 1 Teaspoon)|
|Dijon-style mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Teriyaki sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), finely mashed to form paste|
|Lamb steaks||1 Pound|
1 In small bowl, add all the ingredients except the lamb steaks and mix throughly.
2 On a rack in broiler pan broil steaks 2 to 5 inches from heat source (depending on thickness of steaks; thinner steaks should be closer to heat) for 1 to 2 minutes.
3 Glaze with half the mustard-honey mixture using a brush.
4 Broil for another 5 to 7 minutes.
5 Turn steaks over and broil 1 to 2 minutes longer.
6 Apply the remaining mustard-honey mixture on the steaks.
7 Broil for 5 to 7 minutes longer or until done to taste.
8 Serve immediately.
