|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Sliced mushrooms/Sliced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Garnish)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
Trim the steaks.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the steaks for 1 minute on each side.
Reduce the heat and fry for a further 3 minutes on each side.
(If you prefer your steaks rare, cook them for a total of 5 minutes.) Season with salt and pepper.
Remove and keep warm.
Add the sliced mushrooms or onions and cook until softened.
Spoon over the steaks and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve with a selection of vegetables in season, or a salad.
