|Round steak||2 Pound, cut into strips|
|Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Tomatoes||3 Medium, quartered|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Green peppers||3 , seeded and cut into strips|
|Canned mushrooms||6 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Condensed beef broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Salt and pepper beef strips and brown in melted margarine in dutch oven.
Add pepper, onion, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Saute about 10 minutes.
Add beef broth, 2/3 c.water and Soy sauce.
Simmer covered until beef is tender - about 20 to 30 minutes.
Blend cornstarch to smooth paste with 1/4 c. water; stir into other ingredients and cook, stirring constantly until thick and clear.
Serve with hot rice or Chinese noodles.
