Oven Round Steak Dinner
|Round steak||2 Pound, cut into serving pieces (1 Inch Thick)|
|Onions||6 Medium, sliced|
|Fat||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Potatoes||3 Large, halved|
|Condensed tomato soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Canned french cut green beans||1 Pound, drained (1 Can / 2 Cups)|
Season meat with 2 teaspoons salt and dash pepper.
Roll in flour.
Cook onions in hot fat till tender but not brown; remove onions and brown meat slowly on both sides.
Place meat in 3-quart casserole; add onions, potatoes, and bay leaf; pour soup over.
Cover; bake at 350° 1 hour and 45 minutes or till meat is tender.
Add beans; cook 10 to 15 minutes more.
