Tenderize boneless bottom or top round steak with unseasoned tenderizer as directed on package.
Cut beef into 4 pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in 12-inch skillet.
Cook beef uncovered over medium heat until brown; turn.
Cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes longer for medium doneness.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
