Round Steak Italiano
|Beef round steak||2 Pound|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Bulk italian sausage||8 Ounce|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Apple juice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Hot buttered noodles||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
Cut steak into 8 servings; pound to 1/2-inch thickness.
In skillet brown the steaks in small amount of oil. (Electric skillet 350°.)
In same skillet brown the sausage, breaking into small pieces.
Drain off excess fat.
Add next 6 ingredients to sausage.
Return steak to skillet.
Reduce heat (220°); cover and simmer 50 to 60 minutes.
Serve over hot, buttered noodles; pass grated Parmesan cheese.
