Shaker Flank Steak

|Ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Carrot||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Celery stalk||1 , chopped|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ketchup||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Fresh lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
1. Sprinkle flank steak with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Coat steak lightly with flour, shaking off excess flour.
2. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until very hot. Add steak and cook until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer steak to plate.
