Steak Supper In A Foil Package
|Chuck steak||1 1⁄2 Pound (1" Thick)|
|Canned cream of celery soup/Canned cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Onion soup mix envelope||1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Envelope Dehydrated Soup Mix)|
|Carrots||3 Medium, quartered|
|Celery stalks||2 , cut into 2" lengths|
|Potatoes||3 Medium, pared and quartered|
Heat oven to 450°.
Tear off 2 feet of heavy-duty aluminum foil, 18" wide; lay in baking pan.
Place meat in center.
Mix mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spread over meat.
Top with vegetables.
Sprinkle vegetables with water.
Fold foil over and seal securely to hold in juices.
Bake 1 1/2 hr., or until meat is tender.
