Braised Round Steak With Vidalia Onions is a nice dish. It has nice and tender beeef steak with tasty sauce and has a flavor of vadalia onions. The dish is very simple to make and is delicious. It makes a wholesome meal. You can serve it with mashed potatoes or rice.
Ingredients
  Top round beef 2 Pound
  Vidalia onions 1
  Diced tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), pureed
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beef base 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1. Cut the beef to make three portions.
2. Cut vadalia onion into 4 pieces.
3. Saute onions until edges are brown.
4. Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
5. Coat flour on the steak and saute.
6. Add beef base, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic, nutmeg, tomato puree into water.
7. Add the remaining to the sauteing beef.
8. Add sauce and onions.
9. Close the lid and cook for an hour.
10. Or bake in oven for an hour at 350 F.
11. Serve the braised round steak with vadalia onions.
