Homemade Pepper Steak

Ingredients
  Round steak 2 Pound (in 1/2" strips)
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium, diced
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green peppers 2 , cut in strips
  Tomatoes 4 , quartered
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Bean sprouts 1 Cup (16 tbs) (optional)
Directions

Brown strips of round steak in oil.
Add onion, soy sauce, sugar, seasonings, green pepper, tomatoes, and water.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with a little water and add.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Bean sprouts may be added last if desired.
