Oriental Grilled Flank Steak
|Lean flank steak||1|
|Dry sherry||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Reduced sodium soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Dark sesame oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable cooking spray||1|
Trim far from steak.
Place steak in a large shallow dish.
Combine sherry and next 4 ingredients,- pour marinade mixture over steak.
Cover and marinate in refrigerarot 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade.
Place marinade and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, and cook 1 minute.
Coat gtill tack with cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot coals.
Place steak on rack, and cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with marinade.
Set aside,-keep warm.
Slice zucchini lengthwise into 1/8-inch slices.
Brush slices with marinade; grill over medium-hot coals for 2 minutes on each side or until tender.
To serve, slice steak diagonally across grain into 1/4-inch-rhick slices.
Arrange steak slices in center of serving platter.
Arrange zucchini slices around steak.
