Easy Pepper Steak

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. top round steak, cut into thin strips
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 green peppers, sliced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Tomato wedges, if desired
Directions

1. Place meat in 2-quart glass 1 casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; add soy sauce. Stir in green pepper. Cover with glass lid or wax paper.
2. Microwave for 14 to 16 minutes on HIGH. Combine cornstarch and water in small bowl until smooth; stir into meat mixture. Recover and continue cooking for 2 to 4 minutes on HIGH, or until thickened. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh tomato wedges.
