Hoisin Barbecued Flank Steak
|Hoisin sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rice wine vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated fresh ginger||2 Tablespoon|
|Sesame oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Green onion||1 , finely chopped (White And Green Parts)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Crushed red pepper flakes||1 Teaspoon|
|Flank steak||1 Pound|
In large baking dish, combine all ingredients except steak.
Add steak, cover, and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
Season grill grates; preheat on HI for 5 minutes.
Grill steak, brushing often with the marinade, for 10 to 17 minutes or until medium-rare.
Turn halfway through cooking time.
Set steak aside for 5 minutes before cutting into thin diagonal slices.
