Steak St Louis
|Sirloin steak||4 Pound (2 Inch Thick)|
|Canned mushrooms||8 Ounce, drained (2 Small Cans, 4 Ounce Each)|
|Purple onion||1 Large|
|Catsup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon, melted|
|Garlic salt||1 Dash|
Mix together 1 can mushrooms, drained, 1 large onion, sliced thin, 1 cup catsup, 1 tbs lemon juice, 3 tbs Worcestershire sauce, melted butter and a dash of garlic salt.
Brown steak in heavy skillet.
Place steak in a 9x13 inch oblong cake pan or use the broiler pan.
Put on the above sauce, then top with onions and the remaining can of mushrooms (drained).
Bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour.
