Shirley S Marinated Steak

Ingredients
  Top sirloin steak 2 Pound, all visible fat removed
  Light beer 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Scallions 4 , minced
  Vegetable oil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Acceptable)
  Sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Light soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Hot pepper oil 1 Dash
  Grated fresh ginger 1 Tablespoon
  Firmly packed light brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Red pepper flakes 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Place steak in an oblong glass baking pan.
Set aside.
Combine all other ingredients in small bowl.
Pour over steak and turn to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally.
Preheat grill.
Grill marinated meat over hot coals.
