Shirley S Marinated Steak
|Top sirloin steak||2 Pound, all visible fat removed|
|Light beer||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Scallions||4 , minced|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Acceptable)|
|Light soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Hot pepper oil||1 Dash|
|Grated fresh ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Red pepper flakes||1 Teaspoon|
Place steak in an oblong glass baking pan.
Combine all other ingredients in small bowl.
Pour over steak and turn to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally.
Grill marinated meat over hot coals.
