|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Peanut oil||2 Tablespoon (For Brushing Steaks)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), sliced horizontally (Use Elephant Garlic If Available)|
|Steaks||2 (Shell / T-Bone)|
Mix garlic and pepper with oil.
Brush steaks with flavored oil.
Cut elephant garlic into thin horizontal slices.
Cook steaks over high heat, 2 minutes per side.
Set elephant garlic slices on top of the steaks.
Cover grill with lid.
Reduce heat to medium-high and continue cooking for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until steak is done to taste.
To test for doneness, remove a steak to a plate.
Cut into the steak and see if it is done for your individual taste.
If not, return steak to grill and continue cooking until done.
It may be necessary to turn steak again during grilling.
Remove steak to a plate.
