Marinated Flank Steak
|Onion soup mix/Onion mushroom soup mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
In large nonaluminum baking dish, thoroughly blend all ingredients except steak; add steak and turn to coat.
Cover and marinate steak in refrigerator, turning occasionally, at least 4 hours.
Remove steak, reserving marinade.
Grill or broil steak until done, turning once.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, bring remaining marinade to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.
If necessary, skim fat from marinade.
