Tender Cube Steak

Cube steak is a beef top round or top sirloin cut which pounded to make it tender. This cut is also known as the minute cut as it can be cooked very quickly. There are amny recipes that can be worked out with cube steak. This video shows one such recipe. Cube steak goes well with rice.

  Onion 1 , sliced
  Cube steak 3
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Margarine 4 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)

1. Season cube steak with salt and pepper and then coat it in flour.
2. Heat margarine in a pan and fry the steaks until golden brown.
3. In the same pan, add some more margarine. Add onions.
4. Saute the onions until golden brown.
5. Add flour and stir it well to coat the onions.
6. Now, add salt and stir to mix.
7. Add water, mix it well.
8. Let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
9. Add the cube steak to the gravy.
10. Coat the steak nicely with gravy.
11. Let it cook for another 5-10 minutes and serve.
