Broiled Black Pepper Steak
|Black pepper||1 Tablespoon, coarse-grind|
|Beef sirloin steak||1 1⁄4 Pound|
1. Preheat convection oven to 450°F.
2. Sprinkle half of pepper on one side of steak and pound with a wooden mallet. Turn steak over and repeat with remaining pepper.
3. Place steak directly on bottom metal rack. Cook in convection oven 10 to 15 minutes at 450°F for rare; 15 to 20 minutes at 450°F for medium; 20 to 25 minutes at 450°F for well done.
