Flank Steak Barbecue
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger/1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Green onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Flank steak||1 Pound (Approximately 1 1/2 Pounds)|
Mix together soy sauce, honey, and vinegar; blend in garlic powder and ginger.
Add oil and chopped green onion.
Place meat in a small pan and pour the mixture over it; let stand 4 hours or longer (turn meat occasionally).
Barbecue over glowing coals, about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until done to your liking. Or broil in your oven, allowing about 2 minutes on each side for medium rare.
Baste occasionally with the marinade.
