Full Flavored Steak
|Brown sugar||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tarragon vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Beefsteak||3 Pound, cut 1 1/2 inches thick (Sirloin, Porter House, T-Bone, Or Rib)|
1. Combine the sugars, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar.
2. Put meat into a large shallow dish and pour soy sauce mixture over meat. Allow to marinate at least 30 minutes, basting frequently and turning once or twice.
3. When ready to grill, remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade.
4. Place steak on grill about 3 inches from coals. Brushing frequently with marinade, grill about 6 minutes, or until one side is browned. Turn and grill other side about 6 minutes, or until done. (To test, slit meat near bone and note color of meat.)
