Grilled Tuna Steaks
|Tuna steaks||12 (1 Inch Thick)|
|Lemon juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried whole thyme||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Rinse fish thoroughly in cold water; pat dry, and place in a large shallow container.
Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour over fish.
Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, turning fish frequently.
Remove fish from marinade, reserving marinade.
Place fish in 2 well-greased wire grilling baskets.
Grill over hot coals 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Turn and baste occasionally with marinade.
